Shodokan Goju Ryu Karate Association

The Shodokan practices the style of karate known as Goju Ryu. We aim to provide high quality lessons that are safe, fun, challenging and rewarding for all students that wish to follow a pure lineage traditional karate school. The structured syllabus helps the student to gain and develop their confidence and fitness whilst learning the traditional ways passed on by our teachers in Japan. The association is currently open to all ages, genders and abilities from complete beginner to accomplished and genuine martial artists from other schools or styles. We are an inclusive, family like karate school, committed to helping each other improve and progress through the grades from white belt to black and beyond with encouragement to undertake more in-depth study.
